8/29/07: UCLA to Offer Non-UCLA ID Number Logons

UCLA has begun a process that will expand the UCLA Logon ID space to better support the UCLA community, its members, and its departments. This new process will allow for persons who are not assigned UCLA Identification Numbers (Non-UID) to create a UCLA Logon ID. These Non-UID accounts are NOT eligible for access to any Bruin OnLine services (e-mail, vpn, proxy, wireless, software, etc.). These accounts, though, will allow for expanded service through UCLA's current ISIS access framework by allowing local application administrators to make authorization decisions based upon their unique requirements.

Access to create and manage UCLA Logon IDs can be found on the following webpage:

If you have any questions regarding creating an account and choosing a password, resetting a password, or managing a Non-UID account, please contact the Bruin OnLine Helpdesk at (310) 267-4357, Option 2 or
