CHRIS GARRETT is the winner of the 1997 NCAA TOURNAMENT POOL.  Chris'
strategy of picking all the Pac-10 teams and Kentucky was the deciding
factor in defeating Todd Smith, who had similar picks except for North 
Carolina in the #1 slot.  Chris and Todd were the only ones to pick
Arizona to make the Final Four, a long shot which paid off in this format.
     This year's tournament was even more unpredictable than usual, as 
evidenced by the winning totals in the last two years, 70 and 78.
