KORRI ANDERSON is the winner of the 2006 NCAA Tournament Pool by making the best possible pick at eight of the sixteen seeds plus two of the Final Four for a total of 77 out of a maximum possible 148 points. The 148 figure is misleading, since it includes 20 points for picking George Mason for the Final Four and 18 points for picking Florida as the champion, which nobody did.
Picking the highest rated team by the RPI rankings for each seed would have placed you 46th, but the consensus picks were only tied for 68th.
Two former winners of this contest, Charles DeMartini (1998) and Patrick Thrapp (2003) did very well, finishing 4th and 7th.
