PRESTON KAUK (Cal '81) is the winner of the 5th annual Predict the Draft
contest. Preston edged out 1996 winner Bill Dandridge by three points. The
key to winning, as in past years, is not necessarily to accurately predict
the draft positions, but who will or will not be drafted. Preston missed
only one player's draft status.

  Other notables:

Easiest pick: Baron Davis 13/15 within one.
Brandon Loyd not to be drafted 15/15.

Hardest pick: Arthur Lee 13/15 had him drafted.

Unexpected draft position: Todd MacCullouch (only one within 10).
Tim Young (only 3 within 10).

Exact picks: Baron Davis (Cronshagen, Esfandi, Johnson, Dandridge)
               Andre Miller (Kauk)
Jason Terry (Esfandi, Geweke, Dandridge, Rivero, Kauk, Browdy)

Best pick: Cronshagen & Johnson - A.J. Bramlett at #40 (he was #41)
