DON C is the winner of the 2007 Pac-10 Hoop-Pundits Pool. Don, who attended UC Irvine and UC Riverside, is a Political Science professor at the University of Idaho. He is a long time Pac-10 and WSU fan going all the way back to when his father taught at WSU in the late 50’s.
His comments on the contest: Strategy? Mainly luck but I started with 3 premises. The Cougs would be a lot better than people thought—USC would be better than most people thought and Cal would be a lot worse. I thought the league was fairly balanced so there would be a lot of close games but Cal-Oregon St and Ariz St would end up on the bottom. Those assumptions guided my picks and I got very lucky.
