Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 95/98/ME: Installation Confirmation
Before downloading Sophos Anti-Virus, it is important that you remove any other anti-virus software that may have been installed on your computer, including previous versions of Sophos. This page will walk you through removing previous versions of Sophos, but the steps are similar for other anti-virus sofware as well.
- You must remove prior versions of Sophos.
- Click on your Start menu, then Settings >Control Panels > Add/Remove Programs.
- Find Sophos Anti-Virus in the list and click the Add/Remove button to uninstall the software.
- Find Sophos AutoUpdate in the list and click on theAdd/Remove button to uninstall the software.
Click the OK button to finish.
- You may now download and install Sophos Anti-Virus for Windows 95/98/ME
