Installing VPN for Macintosh MacOS X
- Download the appropriate VPN installer from the Virtual Private Networking (VPN) page.
- Depending on your browser, this step may vary:
- Safari: The installer should automatically decompress and spawn a window titled CisvoVPNClient.
- Firefox: Open the downloaded installer file. After extraction is completed, open the volume called CiscoVPNClient that should appear on your desktop.
- Double click on Cisco VPN client.mpkg to begin actual installation.
- Click on continue.
- Agree to the software license agreement and click continue.
- Select the destination disk to install the vpn client and click continue (See Figure 1)

- Click on Install
- When the installation has completed, click on close
Running VPN for Macintosh MacOS X
- Open the VPN client by double-clicking on the VPN Client icon in the Applications Folder.
- The UCLA VPN profile will appear in the connection entry. (See Figure 2)

- To connect, make sure the UCLA VPN connection entry is highlighted and
click on the Connect icon.
- A new window will appear, and type in your UCLA Logon ID and password in
the appropriate fields.
- You will then be connected to the vpn. When you are finished, click on
the disconnect icon.
