BOL Proxy Server Settings

This page has all of the configuration options necessary for to use the BOL proxy server with any software that supports proxy connections from any Internet Service Provider (ISP).

Authentication requirements UCLA Logon ID and password
Automatic Proxy Configuration URL http://proxy.ucla.edu/cgi/proxy
This setting will be used by your Web browser to determine HTTP and FTP proxy requests automatically
Telnet proxy address proxy.ucla.edu
Telnet to the above address and authenticate with your UCLA Logon ID and password
FTP proxy address proxy.ucla.edu
Your client must authenticate to the proxy first before proceeding to FTP site
News server address news.ucla.edu
Your NNTP client must support authentication to use this service.
