Configuring Mozilla for the BOL Proxy Server

  1. Open up Mozilla and go to Mozilla/Preferences. Click on the arrow next to Advanced and click on Proxies (on the left).

  2. On the right frame, select Automatic proxy configuration.
  3. In the field Configuration location (URL): type http://proxy.ucla.edu/cgi/proxy
  4. Click on the OK button.

When you access a UCLA restricted site, a secure page will ask you to enter your UCLA Logon ID and password before proceeding to the site.
