Configuring Firefox for the BOL Proxy Server

  1. Open up Firefox and go to Firefox > Preferences. Select the Advanced category at the top of the form.

  2. Select the Network tab.

  3. Click on the Settings ... button.

  4. Click the Automatic proxy configuration URL button.

  5. In the field below type http://proxy.ucla.edu/cgi/proxy

  6. Click on the OK button.

When you access a UCLA restricted site, a secure page will ask you to enter your UCLA Logon ID and password before proceeding to the site.
