SSL Configuration - Eudora (Mac) - STEP 1

NOTE: The instructions below have been tested and confirmed on Version 6.2 and apply identically for both IMAP and POP settings. The only difference in settings is based on version and will be detailed below.

  1. In the Eudora application, click on Special then click on Settings.
  2. Select Getting Started from the icons in the left hand column of the settings window.

    Please note the values of the following fields:

    • Mail Server:
    • SMTP Server:

    Please write these values down on a piece of paper as you will need to reference them shortly.

    • OPTION 1: If Mail Server: mail.ucla.edu and SMTP Server: blank, click here.
    • OPTION 2: If Mail Server: mail.ucla.edu and SMTP Server: mail.ucla.edu, click here.
    • OPTION 3: If Mail Server: mail.ucla.edu and SMTP Server: some other value, click here.
