Configuring Mac OS X to Dial-into Bruin OnLine
Follow the instructions below to configure Mac OS X to dial-into Bruin OnLine.
- From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

- Click the Network icon.

- Click the arrow box on the Show pop-up list and choose Internal Modem.
- Click on the TCP/IP tab.
- Click the arrow box on the Configure pop-up list and choose Using PPP.
- In the Domain Name Servers box, type '164.67.128.1', '164.67.128.2' and '164.67.128.3' for the DNS server addresses.
- In the Search Domains box, type 'ucla.edu' as the search domain.

- Click on the PPP tab.
- In the Telephone Number field, type '1-310-206-8311'.
- In the Account Name field, type your UCLA Logon ID(the first part of your ucla email address; ex.if your email address is 'jbruin@ucla.edu', your UCLA Logon ID is 'jbruin'.
- In the Password field, type your password. (optional)
- Check the box next to Save password. (optional)
- Click the Apply Now button.

- Close the Network window.
You have successfully configured your Mac for dial-up access. To connect to BOL, click on the phone icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen and select Connect from the menu.
