Mail.app Configuration

These instructions will guide you through configuring Thunderbird for Mac OS X

BEFORE YOU START

Please note that these instructions are specifically for backing up your email only.

  1. Click on the Mail pull down-menu and select Preferences. Click Accounts, and specify your Bruin OnLine email account from the Accounts window on the left.

  2. Select the Advanced tab.

  3. From the Keep copies of messages for offline viewing menu, choose All messages and their attachments.
  4. Click on Use SSL.
  5. From the Authentication menu, select Password.
  6. You have now set up Mail.app to back up your email account.
