01/12/98: Pop Failure Sunday Evening (1/11)

Hello,

Pop services were down from about 6pm until about 9pm Sunday evening. This was unrelated to work done on Saturday (which went much more quickly than expected) but was rather due to the failure of one of our CPUs. We have reconfigured the remaining CPUs until we can get the failing box fixed.
