10/15/97: Mail Server Problems

Hello,

The Bruin OnLine mail server is currently undergoing a high-load situation. If you get an error message indicating that your connection to the mail server was refused or if you have problems sending mail, please wait several minutes and then try again.

Note, this situation may affect local delivery times. If you send a piece of email to a Bruin OnLine account, it may not be delivered immediately, but might take some amount of time. This also applies to mail from outside locations. The mail will, however, be queued for delivery by the mail server. Currently, the delay time is approximately 3 hours.
