The BOL Web Service is "On Line".

Yes, it is finally here.  The BOL Web Service has been released in general production.  Webspace is available to all BOLid holders.

If you have a valid BOLid, your account on the web server has been activated.  You are free to start creating web pages.
 

Details:

• Web Server:   http://www.bol.ucla.edu/
• FTP Host:       ftp.bol.ucla.edu
• Login id:         your BOLid
• Password:      your BOL password
• Quota:           5 mb
• Your homepage address:       http://www.bol.ucla.edu/~your.bolid/
• Default homepage filename(s): index.html, home.html, default.html, index.htm, home.htm, default.htm
• CGI Scripts: Only the ATS supplied scripts are executable: Web Page ( hit) Counter,  Form Scraper, and Guest Book.
• newsgroup:      ucla.bol.webpages

Web pages can be created 2 ways.  You can either create web pages using a text editor or a publishing program, and then FTP your HTML source to the server. Or you can use the BOL Web Page Creator located on the Web Service home page.  For more detailed information on how to create web pages and place them on your web account go to the BOL Web Service home page at:
