07/28/97: News server is slow

You may experience difficulty or delays in connecting to the news server - news.ucla.edu - over the next couple
of days.  As a result of a disk failure, the Library has been forced to make news.ucla.edu handle all facets
of collecting and displaying the news postings.

The problem disk will be replaced late tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon.
