12/20/96: Bruin OnLine Eudora/Ben2 Passwords Lost

A significant number of Bruin OnLine passwords were lost this morning at about 10:00am. Although not everyone is affected, those who are will be able to dial up and connect to Bruin OnLine, but will not be able to check mail in Eudora or log in to the Ben2 server.

The Systems department is working frantically to restore the passwords. The Bruin OnLine system should return to normal function some time this (Friday) afternoon.
