Netscape 1.x Crashes On "Net Search" or "Net Directory" (09/13/96)

It has come to our attention that Netscape 1.x may crash when attempting to use the "Net Search" or "Net Directory" buttons on the Netscape toolbar.

This problem seems to be due to extra features that Netscape Communications has incorporated into these web pages. Netscape 1.x does not handle these new features properly.

Netscape 2.0x and above do not crash under these circumstances. Therefore, you may wish to upgrade to Netscape 2.02, which is available on the Bruin OnLine Software web pages.
