10/07/2009: Beware of Fake Webmail Login Page
UCLA's abuse team has received reports of an email that links to a website that was designed to steal your your username and password by mimicking the UCLA Webmail login page. If you have received it, please IGNORE and immediately DELETE it, as it is an account phishing attempt. The body of the messages may be similar to the following:

Hello Users,
Due to advancement in Horde mail client, upgrades were made to the University.s Web mail system. These changes will cause your web mail to malfunction even lose of data. To avoid this, you are required to click here to relogin as soon as possible before you begin to experience such.

Once again, this email does NOT originate from Bruin OnLine or any other campus agency. Viruses and phishing attempts such as this can be spotted by the fact that the website requesting your account information (username and password) originates from the domain comentsho.com and not ucla.edu.

Please be aware that Bruin OnLine staff will never request your password at any time.
If you have replied to any email with your account information, please visit https://logon.ucla.edu/passchange.php to immediately change your password.
