9/11/2009: BOL Mail Server Maintenance on 9/12-13

CTS Campus Systems Group will be performing maintenance on the Bruin OnLine mail servers from noon on Saturday, September 12, 2009 to noon on Sunday, September 13, 2009. This maintenance is required to apply critical updates to the server operating system.

During the maintenance window, access to all mail services (webmail, POP, IMAP) may be interrupted for up to two hours for some users. Affected users will not be able to log onto webmail during the outage, and attempts to access mail via an e-mail client (Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird, etc.) will result in generic connection failure errors. Should you encounter difficulty accessing your email during this time, please wait at least an hour before trying again. Please be assured that no email will be lost and all incoming messages will be queued up for delivery as soon as normal operation is restored.
