02/02/2006: Blackworm/Nyxem-D Worm Exploit

On Friday, February 3, the Blackworm/Nyxem worm will execute on infected computers. This worm will destroy files on any infected systems, including Microsoft Office files. Users should be certain that they have updated virus definitions for their anti-virus application. Bruin OnLine recommends that users run a manual scan of their systems to be certain they are free of infection.
