12/7/2005: Unplanned Mail Server Maintenance Outage on 12/8/05

CTS Systems Engineering will be performing unplanned maintenance to one of the Bruin OnLine mail servers on Thursday, December 8, 2005 from 12:01AM to approximately 6:00AM.

This outage will affect approximately one-third of BOL email accounts. We anticipate affected users will be without access to mail services until approximately 6:00am Thursday morning. Email accounts and all mail services (Webmail, POP, IMAP) will be unavailable to affected users during this outage.

Please be assured that no incoming user mail will be lost as messages will be stored in the queue until the server comes back online. Users will not be able to logon to Webmail during the outage, and attempts to access mail via an email client (Outlook, Eudora, Thunderbird, etc.) will result in generic connection failure errors. We thank you for your patience during this maintenance period.
