6/14/2005: BOL Webmail Timeout Problem

Bruin OnLine has received several dozen complaints about a timeout problem with the BOL Webmail client. Those users experiencing this problem are aware that the webmail client times out indiscriminately and any work in progress is lost. We have determined that this problem is related to an older version of the code that is being used on the production mail servers. We will be upgrading the code over the summer and we believe this should resolve the problem.

We would like to thank those many users who submitted reports and subsequent test data to us. This information was useful in determining the cause of this annoying problem. We ask for everyone's continued patience as we work toward the upgrade.
