01/27/2005: SBC-Yahoo DSL Now Requires Use of Their SMTP Server
If your email was working correctly as of Tuesday, January 25th and you are an SBC-Yahoo DSL customer, but you are now having difficulty sending emails, please read the following announcement.
It has been determined that SBC-Yahoo DSL is now requiring users with @sbcglobal.net user accounts to use the SBC-Yahoo SMTP mail servers for outbound mail. Information is available here:
If you continue to have problems, you should contact SBC-Yahoo Support for assistance. Their number is 1-877-722-3755. Please note, this change is not related to UCLA or Bruin OnLine and, unfortunately, happens to come on the heels of our recent security changes.
