12/17/2004: BOL Services Maintenance Outage UPDATE
UPDATE: This outage has been extended until 10:00am. We apologize for any inconvenience.
The Bruin OnLine account utilities will be offline for maintenance on Thursday, December 30 from 1:00am to 5:00am. During this time, the following utilities will be unavailable: creating accounts, changing passwords, creating or changing challenge/response phrases, or resetting forgotten passwords. The maintenance outage is necessary in order to upgrade the authentication directory software.
In addition, the following services will be unavailable in 5 minute increments during the outage of account services: sending/receiving email (including webmail), ftp access to www.bol.ucla.edu, and modem pool access. If you are attempting to use one of these services during this outage and are having problems, please wait 5-10 minutes and retry.
