9/21/2004: BOL Mail Server Outage

Today at 8:45AM, one of the Bruin OnLine mail storage servers experienced an unexpected outage. The server was taken out of service for emergency maintenance. The BOL Systems Engineering group resolved the outage and full service was restored at 10:15AM. The outage only affected the individuals with accounts hosted by that server. All incoming e-mail messages were queued, and normal delivery was reestablished. All users should be able to access their accounts fine now.
