09/15/2004: Mozilla Browser Security Risk

Several vulnerabilities recently discovered in the Mozilla browser can potentially be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks, compromise a user's system, and modify sensitive information. Users of Mozilla are advised to upgrade to version 1.7.3, which is available from the BOL software pages for PC or Mac. Firefox users should upgrade to version 1.0PR and Thunderbird users should upgrade to version 0.8.
