2/12/04: BOL Account creation through access.ucla.edu decommissioned

Effective February 17,2004 , new Bruin OnLine users will have to use the HTTPS method for account creation. The clear-text telnet interface to access.ucla.edu will be retired. Exclusive use of HTTPS will provide for a higher level of security and an improved user interface. Most users are currently utilizing the HTTPS method as the telnet interface is used in less than .1% of all account creations.
