01/17/2003: BOL Partial POP Server Outage

Some users of Bruin Online may experience problems accessing their mail due to a POP server outage as of late Thursday night, January 16. CTS Systems Operations is aware of the problem and they are working to quickly resolve the issue.

One of the BOL mail servers malfunctioned yesterday evening affecting approximately 14% of all Bruin Online account holders. All affected users were moved to a new machine, and your account is currently being restored. You should be able to access your email by 12 noon today, Friday January 17th.

Rest assured, we still have your mailbox and are in the process of restoring your missing mail as quickly as is possible. None of your email has been lost. We will post updates here as soon as they become available.
