09/26/2002: BOL POP Server Outage - UPDATED
Some users of Bruin Online may experience problems accessing their mail due to a POP server outage as of 6:30PM, Thursday September 26th. CTS Systems Operations is aware of the problem and we are working the quickly resolve the issue.
UPDATE - 09:30am 09/26/02
One of the BOL mail servers malfunctioned yesterday evening affecting approximately 14% of all Bruin Online account holders. All affected users were moved to a new machine, and while you should be able receive any new mail since the crash, your old mail will be temporarily unavailable.
Rest assured, we still have your mailbox and are in the process of restoring your missing mail as quickly as is possible. None of your email has been lost. We will post updates here as soon as they become available.
