09/23/2002: Bruin Online Webmail Beta

We would like to invite your to try our beta of the new BOL Webmail application available at https://mail.ucla.edu/.

The BOL Webmail application is able to send and receive attachments, as well as spell-check your email compositions. BOL Webmail is eventually intended to replace the Pine email system available via Telnet (Traveler's Email). Address book functionality is not yet available in this beta version, but is intended to be available in the production version of this application.

There is a Frequently Asked Questions document about BOL Webmail available at http://www.bol.ucla.edu/services/webmail/.

This application will remain in beta until the beginning of Winter Quarter, after a review of comments and suggestions has been made.
