02/20/01: BOL scheduled maintenance Sunday, 02/25/01, 00:00 - 01:15

Communications Technology Services (CTS) has scheduled a maintenance window to perform hardware and software upgrades of the BOL servers www.bol.ucla.edu and news.ucla.edu, respectively. The maintenance window is as follows:

BOL FTP and Web services        ftp.bol.ucla.edu        12:00am-01:00am
                                www.bol.ucla.edu

During the hardware upgrade, FTP access to www.bol.ucla.edu will be unavailable for the duration of the outage. Web access will be unavailable for under five minutes at the end of the outage.

UCLA News Server                news.ucla.edu           01:00am-01:30am

A new version of the news server software will be installed. Minimal to no user impact is expected.
