06/6/2000: UCLA DNS Server Change
On May 5th CTS successfully completed the migration and activation of the new UCLA root nameservers. With subsequent testing completed, the new nameservers have been released for production.
The new UCLA domain nameservers are as follows:
dns.ucla.edu 164.67.128.1 (primary)
dns2.ucla.edu 164.67.128.2 (secondary)
dns3.ucla.edu 164.67.128.3 (tertiary)
The old nameservers below are being retired in the very near future and should be removed from departmental nameserver configuration files.
ncc.ucla.edu 128.97.128.1
kodiak.ucla.edu 164.67.128.11
polar.ucla.edu 164.67.128.12
On-Campus Machines
If your machine is connected directly to the campus backbone, contact your Computer Support Coordinator for assistance in updating your network configuration.
